Why SiO2 Ceramic Wax Fibers

Not all car dusters are the same. The difference is what the fibers are treated with — and what that treatment does to your paint.

Standard Cotton

No treatment. Traps some dust mechanically but leaves residue, loses effectiveness quickly, and provides no surface protection.

Paraffin Wax

Better dust attraction and a light shine — but paraffin is petroleum-based and degrades in heat, making it less effective in Indian summer conditions.

SiO₂ Ceramic Wax

Heat stable, hydrophobic, and electrostatically active. Pulls dust off paint and locks it into the fiber — cleaner surface, subtle protective shine, and performance that lasts significantly longer than alternatives.

SiO₂ (Silicon Dioxide) is the same compound used in professional ceramic coating products — built to perform even in Indian summer heat.
